Welcome to the New Online Home of B-CU Athletics!

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Visitors to the official Bethune-Cookman University athletic department web site will notice sweeping changes beginning today (Thursday, June 28, 2012)  with the launch of the redesigned www.B-CUathletics.com.

The athletic department recently partnered with Neulion to revamp and enhance its delivery of online content, including video, to offer Wildcats fans a new brand of digital and mobile experience for viewing college sports.

"We're poised to do exciting new things at a new level of productivity," said B-CU Director of Athletics Lynn W. Thompson. "We have a passionate, well-versed fan base that wants complete coverage of all things Bethune-Cookman, and now we have the capability."

The redesigned website allows all audiences to access information faster and more efficiently and will enhance B-CU's already established gameday coverage as one of the finest among HBCU athletics nationwide.

"Of all the sports-related sites I've been associated with, this one will showcase everything about the program the best," said B-CU's Dan Ryan, who will serve as the site's staff writer. "B-CUathletics.com is now a newspaper, magazine, radio station and television station all rolled into a one-stop information source."

B-CU's Department of Sports Information, along with the Athletic Video Operations department, will oversee the content of the new site, including the CATEYE Network video portal and B-CU SportsNation. Partnerships with WM&G, B-CU's student-run television station, will provide not only additional content, but real-time experience for mass communication majors.

Users are encouraged to offer feedback HERE as Neulion technicians and the B-CU staff finalize the site to full operational status. An official launch date celebration, including ticket giveaways for the September 22 B-CU vs. Tennessee State game, will take place in July.

"We're looking forward to seeing and hearing what users think," Thompson said. "The next few days will be like preseason as we get ready to offer  an exciting and dynamic online presentation of Wildcat athletics."
