DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - After leading Bethune-Cookman to a 34-27 finish and NCAA Regional appearance in his first season, Head Coach Jason Beverlin and his staff are rolling into year two. The Wildcats have a pair of events on the slate before the team heads into fall ball, with the Bethune-Cookman High School Showcase and B-CU Walk-On Tryouts on the schedule.
Walk-On Tryouts for the Bethune-Cookman baseball team will be coming in the early fall, but first all candidates must first attend a mandatory Walk-On Tryout Meeting in the B-CU Athletic Department (740 West International Blvd.) lobby, on Monday, August 27 at 4:00 p.m. All of the instructions concerning the necessary preparations for walk-ons will be given at that time. The actual tryouts will be at a later date to be determined.
Bethune-Cookman will host its High School Showcase Camp at Jackie Robinson Ballpark on Saturday, September 15, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The camp will run until 5:00 p.m. and will include instruction and pro-style workouts.
