NEW ORLEANS, La. - Bethune-Cookman's in the Big Easy this week for two contests starting with Tuesday's tussle with Tulane at 8 p.m. EST.
ROAD TRIPPING: The game with the Green Wave is part of the Joe Cipriano Nebraska Classic, which, takes the Wildcats to Louisiana, Ohio, Indiana and not once to the Cornhusker state.
B-CU UPDATE: Kevin Dukes went 9-9 from the line in Friday's loss at St. Bonaventure ... Malik Jackson, a JUCO transfer, made a strong Wildcat debut with 10 points and five rebounds ... This is the first time B-CU met Tulane since a Dec. 28, 1994 contest won by Tulane 97-66.
ABOUT THE GREEN WAVE: Tulane (0-1) fell to Georgia Tech, 79-61, on Friday in Atlanta. Junior forward Josh Davis led the Green Wave with a career and game-high 27 points, while sophomore guard Ricky Tarrant added 18. As a team, Tulane committed a school-record low four turnovers, but was outrebounded, 47-23.
