Men's Basketball Game Day: New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS - Bethune-Cookman (0-2) wraps up its trip to the Big Easy with a non-conference tilt at New Orleans (1-1) Thursday at 8:05 p.m.

After this, the Wildcats will re-sume play in the Joe Cipriano Nebraska Classic, which, of course, takes the Wildcats to Louisiana, Ohio, Indiana and not once to the Cornhusker state. B-CU plays at Kent State Tuesday.

B-CU UPDATE: The Wildcats have lost both contests of the 2012-2013 season by identical 65-55 scores. What's more: B-CU has been outscored 66-56 in first halves and 64-54 in second halves. Against Tulane, three players had career highs: Mikel Trapp (12 points), Ricky Johnson (6 rebounds) and Alex Smith (8 rebounds).

ABOUT UNO: UNO is 1-1 on the season following a loss on Monday to Southern Illinois. Junior transfer Cory Dixon netted a game-high 15 points against the Salukis and became the first Privateer newcomer to post double-figures in their first two games since the 2010-11 season. Through two contests, Privateer opponents are averaging 24 turnovers a game.
