COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman track & field travel for their first foray northward in the third meet of the season, a midweek limited competition at the USC Indoor Open #2 Information, Wednesday at the USC Indoor Complex, beginning at 4 p.m.
Due to the limited number of events run on the four-lane track at the indoor complex, B-CU will compete in only select events, but it will allow for more Wildcats to perform, with no per-event entry restrictions. B-CU will be represented in the 55m, 55m hurdles, pole vault, high jump, weight throw and shot put.
Bethune-Cookman Head Coach Donald Cooper sat down to talk about the meet before heading out to Columbia.
This will be the first of two meets set for the week, with the Wildcats returning to the Stephen C. O'Connell Center in Gainesville, for the Jimmy Carnes Invitational on Saturday and Sunday (Jan. 26-27).
Competition results and meet recaps will be available on B-CUathletics.com shortly after the close of the day's competition.
