NEW YORK - The Wildcats hit the road for their last indoor
meet of the regular season before the MEAC Indoor Track & Field
Championships in two weeks, heading to the season's largest meet to date at the
11th Annual (New Balance) Armory Collegiate Invitational, Friday and Saturday
(Feb. 1-2) at New York's famous Armory track.
The event has become a staple of the Widcats' season
each year, with over five consecutive seasons appearing in the competition.
Bethune-Cookman will be joined by 100 teams from hailing from campuses coast to
coast, in the largest non-championship event of the NCAA indoor season.
Bethune-Cookman again will have limited entries, 19 to
be exact; with Head Coach Donald Cooper submitting only the most elite Wildcats
for competition at the star-studded affair.
Coach Cooper took time out of his schedule to talk about
the meet before heading out to the Big Apple.
Competition results and meet recaps will be available on
B-CUathletics.com shortly after the close of the meet's competition.
