The Aggies built their lead to 53-37 on a Jeremy Underwood
lay-up with 7:19 left.
Two Brandon Stewart free throws with 4:51 left got B-CU
within nine at 55-46, but the Wildcats could come no closer.
Adrien Coleman and Javoris Bryant each led the Wildcats with
12 points and seven rebounds. Kevin Dukes
added nine, and Stewart and Smith each scored eight.
B-CU, which had a two-game winning streak snapped, faces
North Carolina Central Monday night at 7:30 p.m.
HEAD COACH GRAVELLE CRAIG
"When we don't shoot the ball, we struggle. That's the
bottom line. If you make shots, you have a chance, if you don't, this is what
happens."
"In the first half, we made some shots early and took care
of the ball."
"North Carolina A&T capitalized on "live" turnovers ...
they were able to get the ball out in transition."
NOTES: Freshman Allan Dempster registered his first career
start ... Bryant has now been in double-figures two straight games... Witter's 14
rebounds were the most for a B-CU opponent this season.
