DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Bethune-Cookman hosts Howard in a key Mid-Eastern Athletic
Conference women's game Monday at 5:30 p.m. in Moore Gym.
The Lady Wildcats (11-11 overall, 6-4 MEAC) are currently
tied for fourth in the conference standings, a game and a half behind North
Carolina A&T (8-3) for third. The top three teams earn a first-round bye at
next month's conference tournament in Norfolk, Va.
Howard (15-9,9-3) is in second place and is currently on a
three-game winning streak.

Howard is tied with Hampton in giving up a conference low 50.5 points a
game ... Saadia Doyle, one of the league's elite players, is having another
banner year with averages of 20.8 ppg scoring and 9.0 rebounds ... Howard is 5-1
on the road in league play.
B-CU UPDATE: The Lady wildcats are back in action after
having a week off. Chastity Rene' Taylor is seventh in the MEAC in scoring (14.0
ppg) ... Amanda Hairston is second in field goal percentage at .482 ... Terrenisha
Hollis has led the team in scoring three of the past five games... B-CU is 4-1 at
home against conference opponents.
