DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- It's Krysta Gardner vs. Janeen Davis Sunday at 1 p.m. when the Bethune-Cookman Maroon and Gold match takes place in Historic Moore Gymnasium.

Okay, it may not be Bird-Magic or Kobe-LeBron, but Sunday's format does pits the Lady Cats' two premier offensive weapons AGAINST each other in the final big tune-up before Friday's 2012 season opener against Charlotte.

Gardner's supporting cast will primarily be the newcomers in addition to student assistant coach Frances Rodriguez. Davis has all the other returners, including setter Aubrianna Curtis and libero Jennifer Jimenez in addition to graduate assistant Linda Nwabuko.

Admission is free and the team's 2012 poster will be debuted.
