DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Kadian Dunkley and Kirsten Taylor will represent the Bethune-Cookman Cross Country team, at the Florida State  Cross Country Invitational on Friday at 6:15 p.m. on a 6k course at  Apalachee Regional Park.

Dunkley, the MEAC Cross Country leader, enters the weekend confident after running an MEAC leading time of  18:39.04 in the women's 5k in her last time out at the Robert Shumake HBCU Cross Country Challenge.

"She is ahead of her pace from this time last year," says Garon Jackson, the distance coach for B-CU track and cross country

Taylor, coming back from a knee injury, will get another chance to sharpen up in preparation for the MEAC Cross Country Championships taking place October 26 - 27th

"We are looking for Kirsten to be a big asset in the MEAC Cross Country Championships," said Jackson.
