MIAMI -- Bethune-Cookman concludes its non-conference schedule with a Monday matinee against FIU.

The Wildcats (5-10) returned to action after holiday break Saturday at LSU, falling behind by 21 early before cutting it to eight, but LSU used a 10-0 run to claim a 79-63 win. Adrien Coleman had a game-high 24 points while Alex Smith posted his third consecutive double-double with 10 points and 10 boards.

ABOUT FIU: Coached by Rick Pittino's son, Richard, the Panthers (6-7) have won their last
two games, including Saturday's 75-70 win over Louisiana-Lafayette and an 88-72 triumph over Florida A&M on Jan. 2. Tymell Murphy leads FIU in both scoring (15.0 ppg) and rebounding (7.7.) Jerome Frink contributes 10.0 ppg and 7.9 rpg.

305 CONNECTIONS: Like all other B-CU sports, the Wildcat men's basketball team has numerous deep connections to the Miami area, including Brandon Stewart, who played for Carol City HS and Mailk Jackson played for Miami Dade State College.
