No. 65 Hurricanes Down B-CU in Men's Spring Opener

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Bethune-Cookman opened its 2013 men's spring season Saturday with a 7-0 loss to No. 65 Miami at  the University of Florida.

The Wildcats registered one victory when Santiago Lobelo and Diego Garvito downed Miami's No. 3 doubles tandem of   Diego Soto / Henrique Tsukamoto 8-4, but the Hurricanes (1-1) took the other two matches to earn the doubles point.

Moritz Pronath took William Albanese to a tiebreaker in No. 5 singles, but fell 10-8.

 B-CU travels to Florida State Monday.
