B-CU turned around its fortunes from a 2-3 effort in Baker games on Friday, picking up an even 3-3 mark on Saturday in Traditional games.

This year's KU Invitational field includes Adelphi, Cheyney (Pa.), Coppin State, Delaware State, Farleigh-Dickinson, Florida A&M, Howard, Kutztown, LIU, Maryland Eastern Shore, Medaille College, Monmouth, Morgan State, New Jersey City, Penn State-Altoona,  North Carolina Central, Norfolk State, Sacred Heart, Salem International, St. Francis (Pa.), St. Francis-Brooklyn University, Stephen F. Austin, St. Peter's, Southern, Valparaiso, Vanderbilt, and Wisconsin-Whitewater.

The Wildcats opened the day with a tough loss against 17th-ranked New Jersey City College (962-925), but bounced back to claim victories in the next three matches.

In that stretch, B-CU took down opponents from St. Peter's (851-828), No. 16 Long Island University (938-858) and Cheyney (980-792), respectively.

The last two matches were close losses to No. 11 St. Francis (935-863) and Monmouth (912-862).

"We're leaving too many open frames and giving teams too many opportunities to beat us," said B-CU head coach Tony O'Neal.

B-CU sits 17th in the tournament standings on the weekend with a total pin fall count of 8,969 leading into Sunday.

Senior Staci Hilliard was the high-bowler for the Cats on Saturday, producing three 200-plus games, including a team-best 253 in the third match against LIU-Brooklyn.
