FIU is led at the plate by sophomore shortstop Julius Gaines, who is batting an outstanding .700 so far this season, with seven hits, but no RBI. Senior Outfield Nathan Burns (.462) and sophomore first baseman/designated hitter Oscar Aguirre (.429) both join Gaines in batting over .300, with burns topping the team with five RBI.
