TENNIS ROUND-UP: B-CU Bounces Back For MEAC Wins
After taking a non-conference loss to Campbell Monday morning, both Bethune-Cookman tennis teams rebounded for Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference victories later in the day.
The Lady Wildcats downed North Carolina A&T 5-2 and the men took a 4-0 decision over North Carolina Central to conclude their road trips.
MEN
B-CU 4, NORTH CAROLINA CENTRAL 0
Santiago Lobelo won at No. 4 singles and combined with Diego Garavito for a No. 2 doubles to help the Wildcats (6-7,1-1) snap a three-match losing streak.
CAMPBELL 4, B-CU 0
The Camels downed the Wildcats earlier in the day in a non-conference match. Seve Day and Juan Varon were leading their No. 1 doubles match when it was called after Campbell took the doubles points.
WOMEN
BETHUNE-COOKMAN 5, NORTH CAROLINA A&T 2
The Aggies won No. 1 and No. 2 singles, but Gaby Chinchilla, Victoria Galyaeva, Chinatsu Kajiwara and Laura Rodriguez won the remaining matches to give B-CU (7-5,2-1) the victory.

Valentina Beresiarte won the second set of her No. 6 match with Kirtsen Renz but dropped the tie breaker 10-7.
