Wildcats Spring Practice Report: April 3
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats returned to the Wildcat Practice Fields for their sixth spring practice Wednesday afternoon. This was the fourth time in spring practice that B-CU donned full pads and just their second practice since the team’s first scrimmage last Saturday.
Wednesday’s practice featured work with specific units, as well as 11-on-11 competition at the end of practice. The day went 21 sessions amid temperatures ranging in the mid-70s with winds out of the east at 5 mph. Light rain fell over the middle of practice, but soon tapered off with just cloudy skies filling the air late.
The first edition of the CatEye Network original series 1st and 10 aired Tuesday, April 2, going behind the scenes with the B-CU football team. The series will feature six episodes throughout the course of spring practice leading into and beyond the Spring Showcase on April 20.
The Wildcats return to the Wildcat Practice Fields on Friday for their seventh practice session of the spring.
