@BCUGolf Women in 10th at Pat Bradley Invite
SARASOTA, Fla. – Jennifer Hide shot an opening-round 73 on Sunday to sit tied for 19th in the field, as the Bethune-Cookman women’s golf team finished the first day of the 36th Annual Pat Bradley Invitational at the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club. The event is being hosted by Florida International University.
Hide, a junior from Norfolk, England, began her day with a 41 on the front nine, only to shave that down in the back stretch, finishing the last nine holes with a score of 32. She is tied alongside five other players for 19th overall with a one-over-par scorecard following her first 18 holes.
Freshman Alice Plumb, playing in just her second ever collegiate event, fired an opening-day 80 (8-over-par) to sit tied for 67th, and junior Patrizia Trevisan fired an 82 (10-over-par) to place 83rd.
As a team, the Wildcats are tied alongside Delaware for 10th place, shooting a combined 303 (+15) through 18 holes.
Play continues Monday with a shotgun start format through 18 holes beginning at 9:30 a.m.
