B-CU Women Finish 14th at Pat Bradley Invite
SARASOTA, Fla. – Patrizia Trevisan and Marie Bergelin helped lead the Bethune-Cookman University women’s golf team on the final day of the 36th Annual Pat Bradley Invitational at the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club. The event was hosted by Florida International University.
Trevisan, a senior from Leopoldsdorf, Austria, finished even-par over the final two days of the tournament, after suffering a 10-over-par opening day round. For the event, she finished tied for 32nd in the individual field with a scorecard of 82-71-73=226, and finishing 10-over-par altogether across 54 holes.
As for Bergelin, the Copenhagen, Denmark native turned in one of her more memorable tournaments as she finished tied for 34th overall. The senior registered rounds of 75, 75 and 77 to finish 11-over-par in the event.
Jennifer Hide (73-80-79=232, +16) lowered a stroke in Tuesday’s final round to finish tied for 54th, while Andrea Orozco (75-83-83=241, +25) finished 76th. Freshman Alice Plumb (80-90-89=259, +43) rounded out the Wildcats’ scoring in a tie for 90th.
As a team, B-CU (303-309-312=924, +60) finished the event 14th overall, two strokes ahead of Florida Atlantic, and just four strokes behind Drake. Missouri (295-292-286=873, +9) won the event, followed by Daytona State (874, +10) and FIU (876, +12).
The Wildcats return to the links Nov. 2-3, competing in the Winthrop University Intercollegiate in Rock Hill, S.C.
