GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Coming off a loss to MEAC leading North Carolina Central Saturday, Bethune-Cookman looks to rebound with a Monday night match-up at North Carolina A&T.

B-CU (5-21,3-8) dropped a 70-67 decision when the teams met Jan. 11 in Daytona Beach.

WILDCAT UPDATE: Malik Jackson registered his sixth straight double-figure scoring night against NCCU. Maurice Taylor is averaging 8.5 ppg the past four games.

ABOUT NCAT: The MEAC tournament champion Aggies (8-16,4-5) snapped a three-game losing streak with Saturday’s 84-78 win over Florida A&M. Richard Pauk is averaging 17.8 ppg and Lamont Middleton 17.2.

IF THE MEAC TOURNAMENT STARTED TODAY: The Wildcats would face Coppin State n State in the opening round on Tuesday, March 11. The winner of that game would face Morgan State in the quarterfinals.


1968: Johnnie Allen scores 44 points, but Bethune-Cookman loses 118-103 at Savannah State.

1969: Allen had 23 points and 19 rebounds as the Wildcats took a road win with a 75-73 decision at Fort Valley State..

1980: Bruce Daniels hit two free throws with six seconds left as B-CC downed Morris Brown 81-80.
