DELAND, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman concluded play at the Hatter Invitational Sunday with a 3-1 loss to  host Stetson at Patricia Wilson Field.

Shamaria Engram drove in the lone Wildcat run in the fourth on a fielder’s choice that brought in Kaitlin Alamprese. Engram also had a seventh inning single. Kelsey Rodney had B-CU’s other hit, a first-inning single.

The Wildcats (1-9) went 1-4 over the weekend. Calesha Shelley, who went 8-18 (.444) in five games, was named to the all-tournament team, along with freshman Bailey Connor, who was 6-12 (.500) with a home run and four RBI at the plate and got a win in relief Friday over Campbell.
