keep the Florida midweek going with
another rematch, traveling north on the
coast to face Jacksonville (10-21) on
Wednesday. First pitch is set for 6:30
p.m. between the Wildcats and Dolphins.

About the Dolphins
The Jacksonville record has gone the way defensive containment this season, as the Dolphins hold a 5.52 team ERA and have surrendered 5.8 runs per outing, on 9.8 hits per game. Offensively, the Dolphins have proven capable of putting hits on the board, but have struggles to convert for runs.

Pacing the Dolphins offensively is third baseman Scott Shaub, who hits .400 for JU with a team-leading 21 RBI and 34 hits. First baseman Connor Marabell is hitting .352 and has 17 RBI  with 16 runs scored. Braddock Rowe rounds out the trio over the .300 mark, hitting .313.  

About the Wildcats
The Wildcats had a tough night at the plate on Tuesday at Stetson an look to get back on the hitting track.

First baseman Eric Sams snapped a five-game streak with multiple hits, but continues a strong lead on the squad with a .367 average, including 11 doubles. He has 14 RBI and also leads the team in scoring runs, at 28. Second baseman Matt Noble hits .315 with 18 runs scored and 13 RBI, while outfielder Eros Modena is hitting .317 with 17 RBI and 10 runs scored.

When these teams met in mid-March, the Wildcats earned a 6-2 victory at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.
