NORFOLK, Va. – The Bethune-Cookman University football team will be featured in three Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference television games on the ESPN family of networks during the upcoming season. The announcement came from the MEAC Office on Friday afternoon, highlighting the complete conference schedule of games to be carried by the ESPN family of networks in 2014.

Bethune-Cookman will have the final three regular season games of the year airing live as part of a national television broadcast.

"The MEAC is proud of its continued partnership with ESPN, the Worldwide Leader in Sports," said MEAC Commissioner Dennis Thomas. "We are excited about these competitive matchups and look forward to highlighting our great and talented student-athletes, coaches and institutions on a global landscape."

B-CU’s first MEAC television game will see the Wildcats traveling to face the Norfolk State Spartans on Thursday, November 6, in a game televised live on ESPNU/WatchESPN at 7:30 p.m. The Cats return to the Hampton Roads area of Virginia a week later, taking on the Hampton University Pirates on Thursday, November 13, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. That game will also be carried live on ESPN/WatchESPN.

B-CU concludes the regular season with the annual Florida Blue Florida Classic game in Orlando, Florida, facing off against Florida A&M at 2 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN Classic and ESPN3, as well as a tape-delay broadcast on ESPNU.

The 2014 MEAC television schedule begins with the 10th annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge presented by Disney, Sunday, August 31 in Orlando, Florida. The game will air live on ESPN at 11:45 a.m. This year's game will feature the MEAC's North Carolina A&T State University against the Southwestern Athletic Conference's Alabama A&M University. The matchup will pose the first-ever meeting between the two institutions.

All games will also be available for viewing on computers, smartphones, tablets, Xbox and Apple TV via the WatchESPN application.
