DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Bethune-Cookman finally gets to play within the friendly confines of Historic Moore Gymnasium Tuesday when the Lady Cats host UNF in their home opener at 7 p.m.

MEDIA: Tuesday's match is the debut of CATEYE Network game coverage on B-CUathletics.com. For a nominal fee, fans will be able to view this and three other B-CU matches this season. Lericia Harris will handle play-by-play.

B-CU UPDATE: The first win of 2012 continued to elude B-CU last weekend at the Big Daddy's Invitational. B-CU did take Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference counterpart  Hampton to five sets, but the Pirates held on for a 3-2 victory.

"We are not 0-12 bad," said B-CU Head Coach Isaac Raphael. "We simply need to find a way to win."

GARDNER GAUGE:  Senior Krysta Gardner now has 948 career kills, 52 away from the 1,000 mark. She also has 95 career service aces.

Gardner is currently fifth in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference in kills (3.26 per set) and points (3.67).

PIERRE PUTS UP NUMBERS: Freshman Delica Pierre was named to the Big Daddy's Invitational all-tournament team. She led B-CU in kills in three of the four matches, including a season-high 21 against Hampton.

RUBY TUESDAY? In addition to breaking the longest losing streak of his brief tenure as B-CU Head Coach Isaac Raphael will look for his first win in a Tuesday match. B-CU was 0-5 on Tuesdays in 2011 and lost last week at Steton.

ABOUT UNF: Home court paid off for the Ospreys last weekend when they went 3-0 in the UNF/Radisson Invitational, including a 3-0 win over Florida A&M.  Carolyn Jenkins leads UNF with 113 kills.

NEXT UP: B-CU is back on the road this weekend at the USF Invitational, taking on James Madison, FIU and host USF.
